Winter Dream
You will find everything your heart desires for winter sports within sight of the spa town of Meran.
Our Hafling-Vöran vacation region includes the Meran 2000 ski area, where families and all other active vacationers can live out their dreams. From skiing to tobogganing, cross-country skiing and winter hiking, to a romantic ride through the snow on a Haflinger, there is something for everyone. Just leave your car with us at the Platterhof during your winter vacation and take the ski bus to start your day on the slopes. It leaves just 200 meters from our front door and takes you to the Meran 2000 ski area in just five minutes.
Meran 2000 lies below Ifinger mountain and offers 40 perfectly groomed kilometers of trails. Most are easy or moderate. But there are also runs for real experts and a snow park for snowboarders. Your children can make their first attempts on the boards right at Lucki's Kinderland play area.
Our winter highlights
- The Meran 2000 ski area's St. Oswald and Kesselberg slopes are just right for families on skis.
- The Steilhang and Mittager runs are for more daring skiers and snowboarders.
- Many mountain huts stay open throughout the winter in Meran 2000, offering you a cozy sun terrace atmosphere, distant views and South Tyrolean specialties.
- The three-kilometer natural toboggan run at Piffinger Köpfl promises plenty of sledding fun.
